Here is a short video of our team washing a couple of handmade rugs.
We don't outsource our cleaning jobs.
We do everything ourselves.
Many local rug retailers in San Diego including Outrageous Rugs, send their rugs to us for rug cleaning and rug repair.
We only wash and clean rugs at our local San Diego store.
As San Diego rug cleaning professionals, it is extremely important for us to wash the rugs in a contained and controlled environment.
This is why you should never use a carpet cleaner to wash or clean a rug.
Those guys do only a fraction of the stuff we do to clean and wash your rug.
Their methods work on floor carpets, but don't work the same for rugs.
Its a common misconception actually.
As you'll see in the rug wash video below, we use a machine to deep clean and wash the rugs.
We use special chemicals and treatments to clean the rugs as well.
Once the rugs are have been thoroughly cleansed, we take them outside so they can dry in the sun.
